Barite One of my favorites . . . My sister Rita finds these all the time. "Barite" comes from the Greek word "barys", meaning something like "very heavy" and barite is a comparatively heavy stone. In the 19th century it was used as a healing and protective stone. In the 20th century, scientists found that barite could protect against dangerous X-rays, ultra-violet radiation and radioactivity. Barite offers protection for those who work around computers, for it not only screens radiation, but also reduces the level of skin damage, making it very helpful as well for sunburn. Barite water is used to treat scaly, inflamed and irritated skin. It's also helpful in the treatment of acne or other facial blemishes. Fungal infections of the nails and teeth can also benefit from being treated with barite. In addition, it has a beneficial effect on the psyche. Barite is used to help cure psychological problems such as OCD. ( Obsessive-Compulsive disorder ) Barite can be used on all charkas at the same time. Cleanse barite once a week under running warm water. It regenerates itself and therefore does not need to be recharged. . |
