Amethyst
Amethyst is found mainly in South America,
the Ural Mountains in Russia and Africa.
Purple and violet shades are beneficially stimulating to the brain.
As a mixture of energizing red and cooling blue, they bring wisdom into action
and is great for inner alignment  and spiritual upliftment.
A stone of spirituality and contentment. Facilitates transmutation of lower energies

Geology: Amethyst is purple quartz that can occur in many forms, ranging from tiny crystals
to points, clusters and geodes, which are rocks with inner cavities of varying sizes where
the crystals grow inward.  

Color: Amethyst varies in color from dark purple to paler lavender shades.

History: The Russian monarch Catherine the Great was passionate about amethyst,
and there are many examples found in the British Crown Jewels.  Bishops traditionally
wear amethyst rings. The stone has long had a religious connection and it is found
decorating many churches and cathedrals.

Healing Uses:   Amethyst is one of the most popular stones for healing. It will help you to feel
